Toronto FC 2-2 Atlanta United: Final Player Ratings

Your ratings have been calculated.

ATLANTA UNITED

Atlanta United once again went on the road against a very good team in Toronto FC and pulled out a draw. It wasn’t the greatest of overall performances, but it speaks to the grit of this team to still be able to get a result against an MLS Cup finalist without putting up their best outing away from home. We tallied up your player ratings ballots and here’s what they churned out:

Man of the Match: Tito Villalba

Thanks to his two-goal performance, Tito takes home our MOTM award by just edging out Alec Kann by three-tenths of a rating point. Kann made seven saves and had several other great moments, but two goals conceded was probably his downfall. The goals aside, this was undoubtedly Tito’s best performance in MLS since his arrival. He was confident in his touches and dribbling and did well to convert his two best chances to ensure the draw.
