Atlanta United at Portland Timbers: Final score 1-1, Post-match reaction

Atlanta United went into Providence Park and came out with hard-fought draw with the Portland Timbers.

An early second half goal by Julian Gressel, his first ever in MLS, was cancelled out quickly by a Liam Ridgewell header off a set-piece. Each team pushed hard for the go-ahead goal, but it never came. It’s a good away point for the Five Stripes.
