Tito Villalba’s gorgeous finish up for MLS Goal of the Week

Can we make it 4 for 4?

MLS: New York City FC at Atlanta United FC Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

So far this season, Atlanta United fans have dominated awards voting. Three times Atlanta players have been up for Goal of the Week (Miguel Almiron 2x, Josef Martinez) and three times they’ve won thanks to your diligent voting habits. Well, it’s time to do it once more and go back-to-back.

Tito Villalba is looking to become the third Atlanta DP to win the award this season. His brilliant finish against NYCFC, the second of three goals in eight minute barrage, is up for the award.

I haven’t even bothered looking at the other nominees to judge if Tito deserves it or not. As the ice-cold Snoop Pearson famously said “Deserve got nuthin’ to do with it.”

Time to do that thing you do, Atlanta fans and get our man Tito a nice award for his trophy cabinet (do they even get trophies? who knows.) Even if his goal wasn’t the best of the week, he deserves your vote for this baller selfie:
