Tata Martino told reporters at a press conference after training today that Josef Martinez, the team’s leading striker who’s been out with a thigh injury since March, will travel with the team to Vancouver this weekend for Atlanta’s match against the Whitecaps.

It’s highly unlikely that he’ll start the match, and it’s not even a given that he will enter the game. But Vancouver is a long way from Atlanta, and it’s hard to imagine he’s getting on the plane for a joyride. Get ready y’all. It’s happening.
