MLS: D.C. United at Atlanta United FC Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Can’t stop, won’t stop. Atlanta United play their fourth match in 11 days tonight in our nation’s capital. Earlier this season, D.C. United came to Bobby Dodd Stadium and handed the Five Stripes a frustrating 3-1 loss. Ben Olsen’s counter-attack was too much for Atlanta’s back line to handle and Bill Hamid’s heroics in goal helped the original United to the win.

Both teams have changed since that late April tilt. Josef Martinez, who was injured for match, is finally back and scoring goals. Meanwhile, D.C. are mired in a horrid goal scoring slump.

Will tonight finally see the return of Martinez to Atlanta’s starting lineup in an MLS match? After starting in the U.S. Open Cup last week, he started on the bench before coming on to score in the win over Columbus at the weekend. Tata Martino will have a decision to make as Carlos Carmona is suspended for this one due to yellow card accumulation. He’s stated that Josef coming in is one of two options with the other being Kevin Kratz replacing Carmona.

Can Atlanta get some revenge for their earlier loss? Can they find some form on the road after back-to-back dismal performances in Vancouver and Chicago? Let’s hope so.
