Superman had kryptonite. Atlanta United have D.C. United. Coming into last night, D.C. were statistically the worst team in the league, not scoring a goal from open play since late April (also against Atlanta). They turned the tide and beat the Five Stripes, 2-1.
It was super frustrating to watch. Atlanta United were the better team on paper, but failed to translate that to the field. It’s becoming a trend away from home lately and it’s not great.
