Tito Villalba’s Goal of the Week nominated for MLS Goal of the Week

You know what to do.

MLS: Atlanta United FC at D.C. United Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Guess what?

You’re never going to believe this.

Tito Villalba’s wonderstrike wondergoal thunderbastard game-winner against Orlando City on Friday night has been “nominated” for MLS Goal of the Week. Make sure you go here and vote for his goal.

As of writing this, Tito leads the voting with 56% of the vote. The next highest competitor is Kyle Beckerman with just 15%. We’re not saying this is over. It’s never smart to get complacent with these things. Make sure to keep doing what you do so we can make it a clean 5 for 5 sweep with this award. Miguel Almiron has already won it twice, while Tito and Josef Martinez have gotten it once.

Atlanta United fans have shown to be unbeatable in fan votes so far. Now’s not the time to let up. Sure he has a big lead, but never trust these things. Anything can happen. Mike Petke could get Trey to fax out some pro-Beckerman propaganda to swing the vote. Account for any scenario. VOTE!
