Two of Atlanta United’s brightest and most promising young talents team up with an array of Major League Soccer prospects tonight in the fourth annual MLS Homegrown Game. As a precursor to the actual All-Star game, MLS bands together their best young players from around the league to take on an opponent. This year, they try their luck against Chivas de Guadalajara’s under-20 team.

Andrew Carleton and Chris Goslin will represent the Five Stripes on the team. They are joined by a who’s who of MLS blue chip prospects from U.S. U-20 stars like Brooks Lennon and Tyler Adams to the newest member of the U.S. men’s national team, Jesse Gonzalez.

It’s a fun exhibition to showcase the league’s next generation. Hopefully we get to see some great play and two of our own do work.
