With the MLS side searching for a late goal against Chivas’ U-20 squad in the 2017 MLS Homegrown Game at Toyota Park just outside Chicago, it fell to a last-second opportunity in stoppage time. Fortunately, MLS would come through, thanks in part to Atlanta United’s own Chris Goslin.
An assist in the final minute for @chrisgoslin17!

Goslin played a nice ball into the box for the Colorado Rapids’ Kortne Ford, who chipped a high header past the unaware Chivas keeper at the death to put his team back on terms. It ended up being the final touch of the match as MLS were able to wipe out a late deficit and salvage a draw against their Mexican counterparts.
Goslin was a late addition to the MLS Homegrown side as Vancouver youngster Alphonso Davies couldn’t make it due to injury. It turned out to be a good addition in the end as the Locust Grove native set up the goal that would pull his side level. Congrats to Chris on his performance!
