MLS: Atlanta United FC at Philadelphia Union Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta United played pretty terribly again in Philadelphia but were rescued by the most unlikely of heroes. Tyrone Mears came off the bench and looped in a long distance header to eke out a point against the Union and send the Five Stripes into the international break above the red playoff line.

Man of the Match: Brad Guzan

Somehow, Brad Guzan has finished just above Yamil Asad, who had his best game in months. Personally, I thought Asad was fantastic and deserved to win running away, but I’m just the guy that calculates the votes. Guzan did allow two goals, but he also made four saves in the process. Discuss among yourselves. Blame each other or pat each other on the back. Whatever you see fit. Hopefully Yamil doesn’t see this. He’ll be extremely disappointed in all of you.
