Atlanta United extended their home unbeaten run to a fantastic 10 games on Wednesday night with another midweek demolition. The LA Galaxy were no match for the white hot Five Stripes attack as their miserable season continued in front of a national audience to the tune of a 4-0 drubbing.

Man of the Match: Yamil Asad

It seems like a lifetime ago when there were worries about Yamil Asad’s discipline early in the season. He’s responded to some early incidents by transforming into an invaluable member of this Atlanta United team. While he may not always show up on the highlight reels or get the universal plaudits that the team’s Designated Players do, Yamil is a true team player that works extremely hard for the shirt and has tons of talent to boot. This was his best overall performance of the season as he had a hand in all four goals, scoring a brace and having the primary assist on the other two. A scintillating performance from a classy player.
