Atlanta United’s young forward, Brandon Vazquez, is expected to miss four to six weeks with a left-hamstring injury. It’s unknown when he got the injury.
Vazquez has been a nice little spark off the bench this season, making 13 appearances with a goal and assist. He last played against the LA Galaxy on Sept. 20 where was subbed on and played 3 minutes before picking up a somewhat harsh red card.
Jacob Peterson and Kenwyne Jones are expected to fill his void on the bench. This injury will keep him out for the rest of the regular season and he’ll be right on the edge of the playoff window. Could Romario Williams possible be an option? We’ll wait and see for now.
