In a move that should surprise absolutely no one, Atlanta United announced that they will welcome 70,000+ to Mercedes-Benz Stadium on four separate occasions during the 2018 regular season. The Five Stripes will show a healthy dose of southern hospitality to D.C. United for the home opener, Orlando City in a heated rivalry match, the Seattle Sounders only an hour or two after the World Cup final(watching that on the Halo Board would be really cool by the way), and Real Salt Lake. Here are the dates and times for said matches.

3/11: D.C. United - 3:00 p.m.

6/30: Orlando City - 7:00 p.m.

7/15: Seattle Sounders - 2:00 p.m.

9/22: Real Salt Lake - 7:00 p.m.

This doubles the amount of full capacity matches played during the 2017 regular season, as supporters came out in full force for Orlando’s second trip to Atlanta and the campaign’s swan song against Toronto just before the playoffs began.

Let’s break some more records in 2018, Atlanta.
