Well, that happened. I don’t think anyone saw this exciting and dominant regular season ending with anyone else but Atlanta United lifting the Supporters’ Shield, but here we are. The reality of sports once against slapping the city of Atlanta squarely in the mouth. Here’s how the DSS community rated the players in the putrid season finale loss to Toronto FC.

Man of the Match: Darlington Nagbe

This was undoubtedly Nagbe’s best performance in an Atlanta United shirt. He was the only bright spot on the field for the Five Stripes. It’s no coincidence that he was able to create the team’s only goal after given the freedom to attack more, something we’ve seen very little this season. Perhaps after showing he has the ability to make plays, he’ll be given that freedom going into the playoffs. Perhaps...
