In just his second ever start as an MLS player, 16-year-old George Bello has found the back of the net against the New England Revolution. The dynamic and exciting left back made a perfect run to get behind the Revs defense and struck a fantastic shot that snuck past the goalkeeper and sent Mercedes-Benz Stadium into delirium.

The goal is significant on many levels. It’s the first of Bello’s MLS and Atlanta United career. It also puts him in the club history books on many different pages as the youngest scorer and the first Homegrown player to score in the league. What a moment for the youngster. The first of many, we’re sure.
