MLS: New England Revolution at Atlanta United FC Adam Hagy-USA TODAY Sports

Coming off a brutally disappointing loss, Atlanta United got back to winning ways Saturday afternoon in a 2-1 win over the New England Revolution. The loss for the Revs snuffs out any hope they might have had in making the MLS Cup Playoffs. Atlanta, meanwhile, held serve against the New York Red Bulls in the the first of three matches to end the season. If Atlanta goes on to beat the Chicago Fire and Toronto FC, the Supporters’ Shield will be theirs.

Man of the Match: George Bello

I haven’t yet checked the ratings, but I’m going to assume it’s Bello. Checking now... yep, it’s Bello. The 16-year-old left back netted his first goal at 16 years and 257 days, making him the 6th youngest player to score a goal in MLS history.
