2018 MLS Cup Playoffs Knockout Round: D.C. United vs. Columbus Crew SC time, TV schedule and live stream

Will the Crew end D.C’s dream run, or will Rooney and co. keep on rolling?

With one set of MLS Cup Playoffs knockout round matches in the books, the second set gets underway tonight as we’ll learn of the final two teams to punch their respective tickets to the conference semifinals . In the East, we get to watch Wayne Rooney, Lucho Acosta and D.C. United as they host Zack Steffen, Justin Meram and Columbus Crew SC.

Simply put, the matchup definitely favors D.C., who will play in front of its home fans on the strength of a 7-0-3 mark in its last 10 regular season matches while looking to capitalize on a 12-2-1 record at Audi Field. Meanwhile, Crew SC haven’t looked as convincing: they’ve gone winless in five of their last seven games (2-3-2), including losses to Montreal and Orlando.

The winner of this one faces New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals as the lowest remaining seed - that’s thanks to New York City FC’s 3-1 win over the Philadelphia Union at Yankee Stadium last night. NYCFC host Atlanta in the first leg on Sunday at a time to be determined.
