Atlanta United vs. New York City FC, MLS Cup Playoffs live stream: Time, TV schedule, lineups, and highlights

The second leg decider is here.

MLS: Eastern Conference Semifinal-Atlanta United FC at New York City FC Dennis Schneidler-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta United and New York City FC resume their Eastern Conference Semifinal today with the second leg coming to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Five Stripes bring a 1-0 aggregate lead with them after one of the most inspiring performances we’ve seen in the last two years. It wasn’t a pretty match to watch at Yankee Stadium, but every player gave their heart and soul for 90 minutes and that’s all you can ask for in the playoffs.

It will be fascinating to see how Tata Martino approaches the second leg with the lead. Will the team start off with the same intensity we saw in New York and push for an early goal to really put the Pigeons on the brink or will we see a more conservative mentality to try and hold the lead?

All eyes will again be on Miguel Almiron’s status for this one. Atlanta shocked everyone and decided to start the Paraguayan star in the first leg and then pull him at halftime. We can only hope he has at least 15 more minutes in him to hopefully help his side snag another crucial goal before the bus gets parked.

It will all be decided today. Which team’s season ends and which goes on to play the winner of Red Bulls/Columbus? A quick reminder that the only scoreline that would see the match head to Extra Time is 1-0 to NYCFC. If NYCFC win while score more than one goal, they’ll advance with more away goals. Atlanta takes it with any sort of draw or win. Let’s get down to business. VAMOS ATL!
