The Eastern Conference Final match-up is set. Atlanta United will be out for some major revenge as they’ll take on the team that stole the Supporters’ Shield from their grasp. The New York Red Bulls will be the opponent standing in the way of the Five Stripes and MLS Cup. Chris Armas’ side dispatched Columbus Crew SC, coming back from a 1-0 aggregate deficit to advance.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium will play host to the first leg of the tie on Sunday, November 25. That match is scheduled to kickoff at 5:00 p.m. ET and air on ESPN. The return leg will be played at Red Bull Arena just four days later on Thursday, November 29. This will kick at 7:00 p.m. and air on FS1.
The Red Bulls have had Atlanta’s number since 2017 with the artist formerly known as the Metrostars winning three of the four meetings, including both matches this season. The last time these two met, the Red Bulls put on a tactical clinic and embarrassed Atlanta United to stay in the Supporters’ Shield race.
Hopefully this is the stage that Atlanta can finally solve the Red Bulls mystery and get to the big dance.
