Atlanta United’s FIFA international break schedule

Who is playing when and where

MLS: D.C. United at Atlanta United FC Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

With Darlington Nagbe withdrawing from international duty during the current FIFA window, Atlanta United now has four players traveling abroad to join their national teams over the next week. Here’s a list of where everyone will be and who their national teams are competing against.

Brad Guzan - United States

Thursday, November 15 vs. England, London, UK (Wembley Stadium), 2:45 p.m. ET

Tuesday, November 20 vs. Italy, Genk, Belgium (Cristal Arena), 2:45 p.m. ET

Miguel Almiron and Tito Villalba - Paraguay

Tuesday, November 20 vs. South Africa, Durban, SA (Moses Mabhida Stadium), noon ET

Josef Martinez - Venezuela

Friday, November 16 vs. Japan, Oaza, Japan (Ōita Bank Dome), 5:30 a.m. ET

Tuesday, November 20 vs. Iran, Qatar (stadium unknown) KO time TBD

Note: During the last two international breaks, Josef Martinez has been permitted to leave the team after only participating in the first of two matches. Nothing has been announced yet, but we’d assume at this point that he will not be traveling all the way to Qatar to play less than a week before the team’s Eastern Conference Final first leg against the New York Red Bulls.
