Atlanta United vs. New York Red Bulls, MLS Cup Playoffs live stream: Time, TV schedule, lineups, and highlights

The conference finals kick off in Atlanta.

It’s finally here. After an international break put the playoffs on hold for a bit, we’re back for the first Conference Final in Atlanta United history. The No. 1 seed and Supporters Shield winning New York Red Bulls are the only thing standing between the Five Stripes and their first appearance in MLS Cup.

It’s no secret that the Red Bulls have had Atlanta’s number in their first two seasons in MLS. Tata Martino’s task through these two legs is to find an answer for the persistent high press that is sure to be implemented by the opposition.

One big concern for Atlanta coming into the match is the danger of losing key players for Thursday’s second leg in New Jersey. Eric Remedi, Tito Villalba, Josef Martinez, Franco Escobar, and Miles Robinson would all miss out on the deciding match if they pick up a yellow card in the first leg having already been cautioned in the previous match.

Can Atlanta United finally solve the Red Bulls or will they be pressed into oblivion once again? Let’s find out.
