City of Atlanta to proclaim “Atlanta United Day” Monday, December 3

and yall are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend

MLS: New York Red Bulls at Atlanta United FC Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta City Council will be proclaiming Monday, December 3 “Atlanta United Day” in the city of Atlanta. All Atlanta United fans are invited to join the Council chambers for this event. It’s a public meeting, so you just have to show up.

In attendance will be team representatives (I’d be shocked if Darren Eales isn’t one of them) and maybe even some players celebrating the team’s MLS Eastern Conference championship (and forthcoming MLS Cup win). Atlanta United supporters groups will be represented. Light refreshments will be provided in the City Hall Atrium at 12:30 p.m. with the meeting coming to order at 1 p.m. in Committee Room 2. The address of Atlanta City Hall is 68 Mitchell St SW, Atlanta, GA 30303.

Everyone attending is highly encouraged by city staff to wear your Atlanta United shirts, scarves, flags (yes we wear flags), etc. Wear your Tata pins. Tata would want you to wear your pins.
