The fine folks over at American Soccer Analysis, the leading source of advanced metrics focusing on domestic leagues, published their preview of Atlanta United today. There are takes.
Year one for #ATLUTD was a huge success, but there's been a lot of changes in the offseason. @TiotalFootball has our Season Preview https://t.co/shwVRB33Cy

That’s right, our own @TiotalFootball wrote the preview, and in it he unearths some hard truths that Atlanta will have to face this year. What if we lose Miguel Almiron in the summer? What if our defense is impacted by the losses of Carlos Carmona and Yamil Asad? Will the new players like Darlington Nagbe and Ezequiel Barco be able to acclimatize themselves to Tata Martino’s philosophy quickly and adeptly? IMHO, the answer to these is “chill bro.”
But seriously, go check out the article, as it’s one of the most well-researched and extensive previews you’re likely to read about the Five Stripes as we head into the season. Then come back here and tell Tiotal Football what you think of him in the comments. Do your worst. Chrisjonesatl, Zontar, Greggtsch, Aubie4Prez... looking at you.
