Per Doug Roberson of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, both Ezequiel Barco and Franco Escobar were missing from Atlanta United practice today.

There was some good news though, forward turned winger Brandon Vazquez was back in training today after being injured to begin the season according to Roberson. This comes as Barco is still dealing with a lingering leg injury with no timeline to return he suffered in pre-season and Escobar suffered a concussion last weekend after colliding with goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
Of course, Barco has missed all three of Atlanta United’s matches this season. The result has been Tata Martino inserting Julian Gressel as a right wingback to great effect. On the defensive side of the field, missing Escobar means that Martino will have to decide if he shifts to a more traditional 4 defender formation in Minnesota with Sal Zizzo getting a start, stick with Gressel as a more traditional right back or finding another option at center back to stick with a back three.
