Full-time - That’s the ballgame. Atlanta United prevail over the LA Galaxy, 2-0. Josef Martinez and Miguel Almiron get on the scoresheet and earn the Five Stripes a big away win. Six games unbeaten.

90+4’ - Miggy seals it! Romario Williams draws Atlanta’s second penalty of the game and this time, Miguel Almiron makes no mistake. He ices the match and the three points.

Half-time: Josef’s lone goal is holding up so far in a fun back and forth affair. This one likely has more goals in it. Stay tuned for the final 45 minutes.

22’ - Where to even begin with this sequence? Minutes after Josef Martinez missed a penalty, the Venezuelan has scored his first goal away from home in 405 days. In an amazing sequence that saw both Miguel Almiron and Julian Gressel hit the crossbar, Josef tapped in when the latter’s shot bounced off the bar and a defender. 1-0 Atlanta.

Pre-Match: Atlanta United travel out to Los Angeles for the first time in their history. A match-up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s LA Galaxy awaits. The Five Stripes are riding a five-game unbeaten run coming into this one, while the Galaxy are sitting on 10 points, three less than Atlanta.

Health has been an issue for Tata Martino as his lineup has continuously shuffled over the past few weeks. Slowly but surely players are regaining fitness. Both Tito Villalba and Franco Escobar returned to training this week, although it’s unlikely we’ll see the former in LA.

Meanwhile, Zlatan has been doing Zlatan things since arriving in MLS. It will be a tall task for Atlanta’s defense to contain. This will likely be the main story to keep an eye on through the 90 minutes. It should be an interesting match.
