Tata Martino spoke with reporters Tuesday morning to give us some further insight into the status of Franco Escobar, Greg Garza, and Chris McCann for Wednesday’s matchup against the New England Revolution.
Franco Escobar: He will be available after missing three consecutive matches due to a chest injury he picked up after colliding with Brad Guzan in the late stages of the Chicago Fire game on May 5.
Greg Garza: In some very unfortunate news, Garza underwent shoulder surgery after a collision with a New York Red Bulls player last match left him holding his arm as he exited the match. Tata Martino said he is “out for a long time”, but hopes to have him back at some point this season. Best wishes to Garza as he recovers. We hope for a speedy return.
Chris McCann: The Irishman, similar to Escobar, will also be available for Wednesday’s match after missing the past three games due to a hamstring injury.
