Injury Report: Atlanta United vs. Orlando City

Another missed match and a long-term absence.

Tata Martino and players spoke with reporters Friday morning to give us some further insight into the status of certain players for Saturday’s bout against Orlando City. There aren’t a whole lot of particularly new updates.

Chris McCann: Martino announced that the Irishman is still unavailable for Saturday after missing the last five matches due to a hamstring injury. Look for Ambrose to start against his former team on Saturday with Garza and McCann still out.

Darlington Nagbe: The club announced earlier in the week that the midfielder is out 2-3 months after suffering an adductor injury. Conveniently, the club also announced a new midfield signing in Eric Remedi, who can immediately join the team for training but cannot play in a match until the transfer window opens on July 10. Until then, look for Julian Gressel to step into the midfield while Tito Villalba gets a few well deserved starts on the right wing.
