Injury Report: Atlanta United at FC Dallas

No short term injuries.

MLS: New York City FC at Atlanta United FC Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Tata Martino spoke with reporters Tuesday morning to give us some further insight into the status of certain players for Wednesday’s midweek bout against FC Dallas. We received some good news concerning one particular player.

Chris McCann: Martino announced that the Irishman is available for Wednesday after missing the last six matches due to a hamstring injury. His last appearance came against the Philadelphia Union on June 3. Overall, McCann has missed ten matches due to injuries this season. It’ll be interesting to see if Martino prefers to give McCann the start in Dallas or if he opts for a slow and steady return and gives him an appearance off the bench instead.

Long-Term Injuries Note:

Greg Garza is still out for 2-4 months after undergoing shoulder surgery in late May.

Darlington Nagbe is out for 2-3 months with an adductor injury. Julian Gressel filled in for the midfielder last Saturday against Orlando, while Tito Villalba received a well deserved start on the right wing. Look for that combination of starters to get another opportunity on Wednesday night.
