Atlanta United picked up their league-high seventh away win of the season against the Montreal Impact on Saturday night. The 2-1 victory was once against spearheaded by a brilliant performance by Josef Martinez. His two goals brings him within three of tying the MLS single-season record for goals.
Man of the Match: Josef Martinez
As you’d expect, the best striker in MLS gets the nod from the community. Neither of his goals were spectacular, but both were a product of smart runs and/or positioning. The countdown to history is truly on and seems only a matter of when and not if.
