Atlanta United and its fans have brought home countless Goal of the Week awards thanks to the online voting system MLS currently has in place. As far as we know, every time they’ve been nominated, they’ve won. With that in mind, you can understand why the league may make it a little more difficult for Atlanta goals to reach the nomination list.
One way around that? Score an undeniably stunning goal that they can’t ignore. That’s exactly what the did to finish off their 2-0 win at the Philadelphia Union on Saturday. Tito Villalba finished off the move, but it would be nonsense to give credit to any one individual. Look at this piece of beauty:

What a perfect passing play pic.twitter.com/iCvQRdj8aR
From Ezequiel Barco gathering and starting the move at the midfield line, to the fantastic fusion duo of Josef Martinez and Miguel Almiron pulling off a brilliant one-two, all the way to the final selfless pass by Miggy. It was one of, if not the best goals we’ve seen in the club’s short history.
Does it deserve to win Goal of the Week? You betcha. Are any of the other candidates better? No idea. Don’t care. IRRELEVANT. Get to voting.
