Man of the Match: Josef Martinez

Who else? Martinez is always Man of the Match these days, especially when he’s tying prestigious league records. His goal in the 31st minute, which gave Atlanta a bug lift when it needed it, was one of the more impressive strikes Martinez has had in Atlanta. After carrying the ball 25+ yards, Martinez cut onto his left foot and unleashed a perfectly placed shot that curled into the bottom corner past one of the best goalkeepers in the league in Zack Steffen.
