For the third time this season, Atlanta United failed to slam the door shit on what should have been a victory, this time against a resurgent Toronto FC squad in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It was a classic draw that felt like a loss after Atlanta dominated the chances during the game, only to be denied time and again by Toronto GK Alex Bono.
Man of the Match: Josef Martinez
Yawn. Just another run-of-the-mill MOTM award for the Venezuelan striker from the DSS community. His two goals Saturday bought him one shy of the single-season record, and one game away from tying the consecutive games scoring streak record set last season by Diego Valeri. He just keeps rolling, and no team looks close to stopping him.
