San Jose Quakes vs. Atlanta United: Final score 3-4, post-match reaction

What the heck just happened?? In one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen in a professional match. Instead of leaving the west coast on the backs of the most embarrassing defeat in club history, Atlanta United mustered a point with a 3-3 draw WON THE GAME 4-3 to the San Jose Earthquakes. The Man of the Match was the Video Assistant Referee, who call back a San Jose goal that would seen San Jose take a 3-goal lead. But that’s not all! The VAR called the goal off TO AWARD A PENALTY TO ATLANTA. From there, Atlanta scraped by and got the third goal they needed. JOSEF MARTINEZ WITH A GAME WINNER AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
