Pity Martinez’s Atlanta United kit number revealed

Will you get his shirt?

On the same day that Atlanta United sold their first-ever No. 10 for an MLS record $27 million, the club has announced who will take over the highly sought after number. New signing Gonzalo “Pity” Martinez will don the number that’s full of tradition in the world’s game:

Pity comes from one of the most prestigious clubs in South America where he also wore the No. 10 that’s usually designated to a team’s most creative midfielder.

How are you feeling about this transition? Will you be buying a Pity kit this season?
