Atlanta United locks up the second seed. Here’s how you rated the players

MLS: New England Revolution at Atlanta United FC Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Atlanta United did the job that was required of them Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, besting the New England Revolution 3-1 and claiming the second seed in the Eastern Conference. Josef Martinez and Ezequiel Barco both got themselves back up to fitness after injury breaks of various lengths, and Julian Gressel looks to be in some of the best form of his career after scoring magnificent goals in back-to-back matches to close the regular season.

Man of the Match: Michael Parkhurst

Kudos to our community for collectively rating Parky as the best player because he deserves the great honor that is Dirty South Soccer’s Man of the Match in his last career regular season game. Thanks for everything you’ve done for this club, Parky, and here’s to leading the group through one last playoff push.
