Atlanta United vs. FC Cincinnati live stream: Time, TV schedule and lineups

After four competitive matches, Atlanta United finally returns to Mercedes-Benz Stadium today for the first time in 2019. The MLS Cup champions haven’t gotten off the best of starts in the Frank de Boer era, they lost their MLS opener and are on the verge of being eliminated from the Concacaf Champions League.

Nothing can cure a bad run of form like some home cooking. The Five Stripes will be anxious to get out on a familiar field in front of all of their adoring fans.

To be quite frank, they couldn’t have asked for a better opponent to get them on the right track. FC Cincinnati are the league’s newest team and were handled easily 4-1 in their inaugural match in Seattle. This match is there for the taking. There is no doubt that they are heavy favorites and the more talented team. Atlanta could desperately use a good performance with the mid-week second leg against Monterrey looming.

Julian Gressel and George Bello look to be out with injury again. Franco Escobar has returned to first team training but is not ready for match action quite yet.

The champs are home and in great position to put on a show for you all. Hopefully the team figures out their attacking issues and do just that.
