Atlanta United 4-0 CS Herediano: Community Player Ratings

Your results

Just one week after writing this same post with some of the worst individual player ratings I can remember seeing last week, Atlanta United did a full 180 and put on a magical performance on top of a crucial result Thursday night against CS Herediano. The two-goal opening 10 minutes of the match helped catapult Atlanta to the next round of the Concacaf Champions League, where the team will now face Mexican giant Monterrey in the quarterfinals.

Man of the Match: Josef Martinez

The Venezuelan Viper is back to his prolific scoring ways with a pair of goals, including one inside of a minute (47 seconds to be exact) to set a new club record for the fastest goal scored in a game. Martinez, ever the poacher, claimed his brace with a pair of finishes from tap-in territory, including one that was put on a silver platter for him thanks to some great work from Eric Remedi and Brek Shea. All this is to say: I’d have given it to Barco, but to each their own.
