This international break will be a busy one for Atlanta United. In addition to three first team players joining their national teams (Pity Martinez, Josef Martinez and Tito Villalba), four more players have been called up by their youth setups.
Miles Robinson has been Atlanta’s undisputed best performer through the first handful of games this season. He has been rewarded with a call-up to the United States U-23’s by new head coach Jason Kreis (yes, that Jason Kreis).

Andrew Carleton will join the U.S. U-20’s for a training camp in France, his final chance to impress head coach Tab Ramos before the team’s World Cup roster is decided this summer.
Ezequiel Barco has been called up by Argentina’s U-20’s who are preparing for the same tournament. Here’s to hoping his international duty goes better than it did last time when he got hurt and had to return early.
Finally, ATL UTD 2’s Wesly Decas, who joined the team on loan in the offseason, has been summoned by Honduras’ U-20 side.
Good luck to all four. Please stay healthy.
