Ezequiel Barco wins MLS Player of the Week thanks to spectacular brace

We back in more ways than one.

And just like that, all is right with the world once again. Atlanta United are back to winning and being entertaining. Not only that, but they’re back in the award circle thanks to Ezequiel Barco, who won MLS Player of the Week honors for his sensational brace scored Saturday night in Foxborough, Mass.

It was such a good week for Barco that he’s in contention for yet another award from his fantastic performance. Barco’s stunning second goal in the 2-0 win over the New England Revolution has been nominated for MLS Goal of the Week.

If we’re truly back to business as usual, it’s time for the Atlanta United Keyboard Coalition to wake from their slumber and dominate another online poll. I can only recall maybe one time in the last two years that someone from Atlanta United didn’t win an online poll. It’s time to show the league we are indeed back both on the field and online.

If you don’t want to do it for your internet reputation, do it for Zeke. The kid deserves it for all the hard work he put in to turn his disappointing debut season around in year two. Vote with the link below and vote often.
