Jones, 18, signed in Germany ahead of the current season and appeared for Schalke’s U-19 side in 18 matches.
The Clarkston native played for Atlanta’s U-16 and U-18 teams before leaving for Europe. He even played alongside Andrew Carleton and George Bello in the U-16 team that won the U.S. Soccer Development Academy championship in 2017.
Good luck to Zyen in this next chapter of his career.
