It’s undoubtedly been a rough start to life with Atlanta United for Pity Martinez. The reigning South American Player of the Year has struggled to make an impact in his first few months in the USA. However, the Argentine has showed signs of life over the past few weeks and against Orlando City he finally broke through in a major way.
After eight appearances in MLS and a handful of Concacaf Champions League games without a goal, Pity opened his Atlanta United account with a stunning goal.
What a way to score your first goal!

For those of us who spent all winter watching Pity Martinez highlight reels, this is the stuff we saw. Finally we get a taste of it in Atlanta. Hopefully it’s the first of many, many more. What a strike.
