Atlanta United is rolling, and not even transcontinental road trips can stop the Five Stripes (who don’t stop, ever). Josef Martinez’s penalty was enough see Atlanta through thanks to another clean sheet — the team’s fifth consecutively.

Who woulda thunk it? Atlanta United’s Guinean center back stepped into the starting lineup for the first time in his Atlanta career and hardly put a foot wrong. He was instrumental in helping the visitors keep the clean sheet, and he proved that’s he’s every bit capable of stepping in from time to time to give Leandro Gonzalez Pirez or Miles Robinson a rest when needed (or stepping in for LGP when his yellow card accumulation suspensions start coming).
