Football Manager Scouting series 2019: Argentina’s top young players

We start our annual virtual scouting session looking at the highest potential Argentine players

It’s that time of year again. Clubs around the world either have pockets full of cash or a squad full of assets, and when the European transfer window begins humming in a matter of weeks, it’ll send clubs around the world wheeling and dealing to try to improve.

Atlanta United will surely be right in the mix. Following the loan of Jon Gallagher to Aberdeen FC, the team now has two international slots available and with empty roster spots ready to be filled. You can bet that the team will be looking to make a move or two during the summer transfer window, which is open from July 9 to August 7. Frank de Boer already hinted this month that he has some ideas in mind, and DSS co-manager Rob Usry and myself had a conversation pondering what areas the club might look at here.

If you’re unfamiliar with this series, it’s pretty straightforward: we look up the players with the highest potential on Football Manager that could be reasoned to be a target for Atlanta United. It’s pretty simple. If this is your first time, check out some of our older posts for players we’ve dug up already, including Franco Escobar and Ezequiel Barco.

If there’s a certain nation or position group you like to see us search, let us know in the comments of the YouTube channel (and if you like the video and subscribe, that’d be cool too).
