Mouths of the South Postgame LIVE
Bookend goals in the first and last minutes of the game against Atlanta United Wednesday night helped Toronto FC pull out a 3-2 result at BMO Field. After a flurry of four goals were scored in the first half hour of a frenzied game, it took until the final minute when Florentin Pogba was adjudged to have committed a foul in his own box. To add to the drama, Atlanta was awarded a penalty of its own by VAR at the death, but Pity Martinez missed, skying his penalty over the bar. Atlanta United looked rusty, having not played a league match since the first of the month, and the game was predictably a helter skelter affair.
Instead of giving you our player ratings, we what to know what you think. Below is a ratings form for you to fill out with how you rate each Atlanta United player’s performance. After a day/night of voting, we’ll tabulate the ratings and reveal them with the top rated player being named our site’s Man of the Match. Feel free to head down to the comments section and leave your thoughts on the match as a whole or give your detailed explanation of your ratings.
Here’s a mobile-friendly link to the ballot. The in-post ballot only works on desktop due to issues out of my control.
