After a tumultuous media week for Atlanta United, Josef Martínez scored his ninth goal in six matches thanks to a Pity Martínez assist, but the combination wasn’t enough to vault Atlanta over a Seattle Sounders at Century Link Field. A Seattle team that was recently strengthened by the return of Nico Lodeiro, Raul Ruidiaz and Christian Roldan from the 2019 Copa America and Gold Cup, respectively.
