Heck yes! More midweek MLS soccer action, just what everyone wanted! Atlanta United returns home to The Benz to take on the Houston Dynamo tonight.

While the games are piling up, this week offers two pretty important home matches for Frank de Boer and the Five Stripes. Before they take on D.C. United in a vital Eastern conference clash, they must battle it out with Houston. The Dynamo sit 8th in the West and are in the midst of a horrid run of form having lost six of their last seven matches in all competitions.

Must-win matches are pretty much non-existent in MLS until September, but this is one that Atlanta United need to be getting a good result out of. They still have the same issues that we’re all aware of by now. They’re tired. They’re short-handed due to injuries and suspensions. Yet, no matter how many excuses you want to make, they still have a pretty darn good team and should be getting points out of matches like this one.

Go team.
