After Alberth Elis was sent off on a soft red card in the 7th minute, Atlanta United punished a short-handed Houston Dynamo at Mercedes-Benz Stadium Wednesday with a 5-0 win. Manager Frank de Boer made a tactical switch, moving the team into a 3-5-2 and the team reaped the rewards — despite missing Pity Martinez, who started on the bench. Darlington Nagbe opened his account with Five Stripes to open the scoring, with added goals from Brandon Vazquez, Josef Martinez (x2) and Julian Gressel.
Instead of giving you our player ratings, we what to know what you think. Below is a ratings form for you to fill out with how you rate each Atlanta United player’s performance. After a day/night of voting, we’ll tabulate the ratings and reveal them with the top rated player being named our site’s Man of the Match. Feel free to head down to the comments section and leave your thoughts on the match as a whole or give your detailed explanation of your ratings.
