Atlanta United was in desperate need of something positive on the pitch, and they got it Wednesday night against the Houston Dynamo with a 5-0 win. The result gives the team a boost of confidence and some momentum heading into the weekend’s pivotal Eastern Conference matchup against D.C. United
Man of the Match: Josef Martínez
I kinda poke fun at how you, The Community™, basically award Josef the Man of the Match whenever he scores. But to be honest, he probably deserves it — at least recently — considering the strong vein of form he’s in at the moment. So much so in fact that he’s producing numbers that are on par with his record-breaking 2018 season, and if he keeps it up, he has a chance to top his goal tally from last season.
