The opponent and date hasn’t been announced yet.
For Barco this will be his first u-23 call up and first chance to work with u-23 manager Julio Olarticoechea. This camp is going to be a good opportunity for him to showcase his talent to prior to the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament in 2020. The Pre-Olympic Tournament will take place January 15 to February 2 2020 to determine which two CONMEBOL countries will compete in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
As for Atlanta United, ideally the team would hope any U-23 matches come within the first two weeks of September, as the team won’t play until September 14 against Columbus Crew. Barring injury, the worst case scenario would be Barco missing one or two games in MLS, however the team has shown to have plenty of options, most notably Emerson Hyndman who plays in Barco’s postion.
