Orlando City vs. Atlanta United live stream: Time, TV schedule and lineups

Back at it again during “Rivalry” Week

MLS: U.S. Open Cup-Atlanta United FC at Orlando City SC Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

It’s time once again for Major League Soccer’s Rivalry Week. MLS has declared Atlanta United and Orlando City to be “Rivals” despite one team never having beaten the other. So that means these two play during this magical time.

The Five Stripes beat the Lions already this month in the U.S. Open Cup semifinals and did it without Josef Martinez playing at all and Ezequiel Barco only playing 48 minutes. Eric Remedi and Emerson Hyndman netted in that match to book Atlanta’s spot in the final.

Is this Orlando’s time to shine and finally salvage what looked to be a promising rivalry? At some point they have to win, right? Unfortunately for them, they run into Atlanta United in perhaps their best form of the season and coming off three huge wins in succession.

Frank de Boer’s side will obviously be focused on this match, but could possibly have an eye towards next week’s USOC final and a chance to win another trophy. Could the lineup reflect that in the form of resting some players or will it be business as usual?

Let’s soccer.
